Peter O'Sullivan Appreciation thread

Ben Dobbin on Triple M radio said he interviewed POS before the game. Dobbin said that he heard he may be going back to Brisbane and POS reply was "I'm not talking about any of that stuff until after the game".

His record says he spends 2 or 3 years at clubs, sets their recruitment on a good track, and moves on.

I think another year would be good, but his work here is largely done.

I don't think he'd try to poach any players we want to keep.

The guys like Manu and Graham we have got from clubs where he worked are guys they didn't want, but he still rated.

For a club that has a long and storied history of hiring idiots for roles like that I would very much like to keep someone who clearly knows what he's doing while we navigate the next few years of trying to hold this squad together.

I read the article, it said the Knights are aware of the external interest and want to keep him. All talks were put on hold until after the season. Didn't sound like a certainty that he's gone, but maybe the Knights will have to pony up a bit more to make the noise go away.

If they have to pay him extra, it is definitely money well spent, no matter what the price is

In my opinion he now becomes the clubs biggest and most important retention ever

I’m hoping he wants to stay. He has been trying to recruit Dylan Brown for years, he’s finally landed him here for 8 to 10 years. Why would he now leave

Yep pay him whatever he wants. What he has done in just 2 years cannot be understated.

The difference between him and everyone else we’ve had is just night and day.
