I was going to say before the game that, psychologically, if we're in the contest, having Cleary on the bench works for us because the Panthers clearly have the feeling that they can break glass if they need to, and that they just had to nurse their way through the game, and it's all about next week.

The same was evidenced by the Smith tap runaway try. The Panthers all had their backs turned because, at heart, they expected to win, and it was just a matter of going through the motions until we broke.

The Knights came with a different mindset and actually fought for the win.

All the pressure now is on the Roosters, who will be runaway favourites for next week. Good, they won't see us coming either.

Yeah there was so many great efforts across the board in defence Best and Sharpe on Martin all game, KP & McEwen near the end, Sandon, and Gags catch was awesome.

All the grittiness that was always talked about but this year it was all in the actions
