Finals Week 3 vs Panthers - 4:00pm Sunday 27th of September - Accor Stadium

Irrespective of what happens on Sunday afternoon I think we've seen the dawn of what will turn out to be a premiership dark horse in coming years.

The attitude and mentality of the senior playing group is so calm and mature, watching KP speak like we still have something to prove despite going from the wooden spoon to the final 4 in 12 months is inspiring.

I've said time and time again that Newcastle is a different place when the Knights are doing well, the energy in town just felt different on Sunday night after the win.

No matter what happens on Sunday, every single one of us will be feeling immense pride to be supporters of this team that just simply won't go away.

Long live the Newcastle Knights.

We won't be dark horses next year. That tag is gone. You'd imagine we'd start the year strong being excited to play with a full compliment.

Anything short of a top 4 finish for the regular season will be a huge failure considering we almost got their this season missing half our stars for majority of the season.

Ok so I’ve noticed something with that team and it’s from watching years of MMA and other contact sports where performance enhancers have raised eyebrows. Also have a mate that’s been using for years😰. I’m not accusing Penrith but just observed how much a lot of those guys look like users. Half the team have traps, delts and pecs that would put Brock Lesbar to shame.

Again, not an accusation, just an interesting observation.

We need to be targeting Blaize/Tago and Cogger. Try to score more tries through them then they will through Sandon.
