NRL Round 23 - Knights Vs Raiders - 2:00pm Sunday, 9th of August - GIO Stadium

Even if win all our remaining games I think it will be tough breaking into the 4. Looking at the other teams above us run also.

So realistically we aim for 5th or 6th home semi. So I know not ideal I think we can afford to drop a game or two.

So if Crossy and McEwen, Gags maybe aren’t quite right, then rest them. Fingers crossed Graham can play.

Then that gives us stronger, rested side for the Titans and Manly at home. The bye last round is massive now. But if we can manager players health over the remaining rounds give us a better chance come finals.
 
Indigenous jersey looks awesome. Nice to have the logo integrated properly. Shame they can’t keep it white all the time. I’d much prefer this to their away jersey

I had a play around with the ladder predictor. We are little chance of making the 4.

If we drop only 1 game, we most likely finish 6th. Drop 2 games, probably 7th or maybe 8th pending results.

In all likelihood I reckon we finish 6th and play the Cowboys at home first week of the finals

We got them in (one of our only comfortable wins that year) at home but it is a joke how often we have to play them away. There must be a reason for it but given that it is relatively hard to travel there would be nice to spread that out with them.

Man it'd be good if we could play Bulldogs at home after the trial earlier this year ....

NIB would pay less if the logo was white all the time rather than their brand colours. Club probably hasnt been in a position to accept less from sponsors - maybe one day in the near future!

hard to look past the Titans front of jersey sponsor...
Sponsorship drives higher revenue than jersey sales. PLUS if a team makes finals, they ask for another $1m+ per week of the finals from main sponsors.
 
Dogs would have to produce an impressive run home to make the 8. Have to beat roosters this week and then souths with majority of players back and possibly Latrell.

Be a good script, is up against them with Obi there. There defence is definitely making it interesting. Friday night will be very interesting how their defence goes against a team like Roosters. So far they haven’t really played a top flight team in there resurgence.
