Yeah he’s not bad to plug a hole for a week or two, but just offers no punch at all in attack.

Totally, and why must some supporters get so cut at the moderate view that we've had a good season but are still short a couple middle forwards before we can really compete on the day with the Roosters, Warriors etc?

How people take that so personally is confusing to me, its borne out by the results of the current season.

The way the sharks have played this year they’re due for a loss. They haven’t backed up a big win this season with another good performance the week after.

We should have won today by plenty but butchered 6 tries.

Maybe we will, but I have to say on the 2026 scale of results, even against the top teams we haven't reaaally been flogged this year. And those losses against the Warriors and Panthers were when we were heavily hit by injuries. Even if we lose those games, going into the finals, I think we will have everything to play for and will be giving it a good shot.

Sharpe needs to stay in the halves from now on. No more changing around the spine when it isn't necessary. Hunt is more than capable enough to cover the outside backs.

I honestly thought our middles did well today, considering the heavy hitters Bennett loves up the front. Moody, Hopwood and Crouch with the experience under their belts did well they were not run over and they didn't shirk their responsibilities.

I'm more worried about next week against Sharks than i am against Roosters at home. Sharkies are a confidence team, when they are in a mood they can destroy teams.

What we shouldn't be is defensive and delusional about what's likely to happen when we play the Sharks next week lol

I was surprised how well Jye Gray contained Dom. I thought he’d run over him. Was a bit disappointing they didn’t kick on the last more to Dom. Half a leap and Jye wouldn’t have gotten close.

Cant offers absolutely nothing. I'm expecting the usual bad read on the tryline for a try in the second half. Atleast he's been pinged for 2 set restarts for laying on the ruck like usual.

It has shown today how much better McEwen is over Cant.I get he is a reserve forward, but losing McEwen has shown our shortcomings and also shows how far Cant is behind McEwen. I hope some egos are put aside next week and Jones replaces Cant in the team.

To be fair it wasnt just Gags putting Dom under pressure, the whole team was throwing shockers to him today. Poor Dom needs to have good ball or he isn't going to be very effective.
