Why Knights forward Lachlan Crouch was called up to make his NRL debut

Says he had a knee injury early in the season and it set him back, but has been in the top 2 in reserve grade for 5 or 6 weeks and had a very good game last week.
Says he is contracted till the end of 2028.
Holbrook says he can't be sure he'll use him, but if he does, Crouch has earned it.
 
I think this game is going to be tight, the finals race is wide open, and teams are going to be knocking each other off for the rest of the season, as the Cows did to the Panthers last night. The Tigers will be desperate and confident after their early-season thumping of the Knights.

Today will be a real test of our progress and how desperate we are to play finals.
 
Yep it’s one I can easily see us going down in if we don’t turn up really up for it. On the other hand, I can see it being a big win and really propelling us into those tougher games at the end of the season on the right note.

Tigers should be absolutely firing for it, but being at home hopefully gives us the edge.

But either way, not one we can afford to lose given how congested the table it. I’m praying we’re up for it in a big way.

As long as we give it everything, I’m happy with a 2 point win, or a 20 point win.

And Twal, KPP and Royce Hunt being out makes all the difference as they were able to shut us out of the game using their forwards earlier in the season. Its a genuine weakness of ours that I think puts a cap on what we can achieve this year. Hope im wrong about that though.

Hahaha, I had something very similar written up.

Just gonna be who turns up today. Tigers capable of putting on a score when they click, as are we.

Both at their best? We win. We are a much better team across the park. Just need to get through our sets and cut out a few of the carry errors. I don’t mind us chancing our arm a little in attack and errors will come. But I’m talking about turning it over on tackle 2 in our 20 after defending 3 sets.

But if we don’t turn up, I can see them getting into a mood. Api out of hooker concerns me. We look a little susceptible through the ruck at times as we tend to be nice guys.
 
It's meant to **** down for 4 hours before the game. It'll be heavy under foot. Hopefully shorten up the passes a bit. Run the tigers around. Hopefully 2nd half its drained up a little bit but the dew will set in so we need to score some points early for me to be confident we win this. I'm going down for this one so it'll be interesting. Crowd will turn up rain, hail or shine so the boys better be ready.
