Got overlooked a bit, but McEwen with the huge tackle to get us the ball back for the final try too. Turned into a matchwinning moment.

He is an absolute beast, great in attack too. His defense is something Newcastle needed, one of the best reasons why he was a great buy.

i saw that. Phoenix isn’t a dirty player what could he have possibly done to warrant that? Very poor from Cody, he’s way too old to be carrying on like a spoiled brat

I'm actually more pissed off after this game than agaisnt the loss to the roosters where they also gave up at halftime. How can you consistently be this bad at your job, like how? Infront of thousands of home fans no less.

The scoreline is deeply silly but that’s what footy is now, last night a team which will almost certainly make the top four almost pissed away a 30-0 lead. With those repeat sets if you have a defensive weakness anywhere it’s getting ripped apart.

It sounds gross to say but we need to get good enough to hold teams to 24.
