I’m not sure why Sandon gets a rough up as often as he does as I’m seeing things differently.

I’ll use an example. Marz is a phenomenal player on a good day, strong carries, finds the line, defends well but we’ve all seen him pack up and move into his head when’s he’s stuffed up early on in a game and doesn’t seem to be able to crawl back out of that dark place. Sandon on the other hand will flash some brilliance, stuff up on the next play and then be brilliant again. There’s a steely mentality there, a coldness in his veins and I wish they could all adopt it. (They will learn a lot just being around him.)

Super happy with him and I hope he’s happy to stay with us for years to come. A future star.
 
Yep got the exact same read on him MB. He gets after it. He backs himself. He's vocal, he's fiery. And he's a goldfish. Very desirable trait.

And he's actually a legit talent to go with it. He's quick, the signs for him developing an excellent short kicking game are there (seems to be a bit easier for the little tackers, just by eye test) and he really does show genuine vision with his ball playing, proper "eyes up" player everyone says doesn't exist anymore.

I know he never got within cooee of junior Origin or Aussie Schoolboys, but how many times have we seen those kids go on to do four-fifths of **** all in the NRL, while some guy who got it out the mud via a long apprenticeship in NSW or Qld Cup goes on to be a huge success?

3.75 games, 4 line break assists, 2 try assists, key involvements in a couple of other tries, 3 forced drop outs, wants the ball in his hands constantly... could not be more convinced he's going to make a real career out of it. May wind up a 300 gamer. That wouldn't shock me at all.
 
Hey lads been a bike trip haven’t been able to see the game as yet. Have read media about Sharpes knee can anyone fill me in did he hurt it again?
 
NRL physio didn’t seem to think so. Said it’s common after pcl injuries that when they cop a knock it hurts like hell but is nothing to worry about. Takes a bit to get back to normal

He looked in pain every time he had someone contact it, but he stepped through the line putting on big steps off both feet to set up Lucas to score like there was nothing wrong with it.
People seem to think it's very tender and sore, but working fine.

Hasn't been any update from the club and I'd say no news is good news in this case. They were pretty quick to let us know with his previous injury, as well as Ponga and Brown.

Bloke podcast eating a whole bunch of letters and numbers too.

Won’t mean anything if we don’t back it up against Raiders at home. But. It’s still very tasty.
 
This article by Renee Valentine, who tends to be very accurate, says Crossland and Sharpe are expected to be named tomorrow.

Interesting that the article quotes Best as saying Brown could be 2 weeks away and Ponga is a "week by week prospect" whatever that means.

Best added Brown could be back in about two weeks while Ponga remained a week-by-week prospect.

I am a sucker for some of the NRL podcasts and I have to say im disappointed with how people are just talking about the dogs attack and not giving much time to how well the Knights played. In saying that im mostly okay with, keeping under the radar seems like a good place to be in for while.

At least Graham/Keary gave credit to the Knights this time and acknowledged that Holbrook is a breath of fresh air and changed the way they did things compared to two weeks ago with the Manly win.
This one at least wasn’t as disastrous with injuries but they defended a lead again despite a sin binning and Bulldogs team playing with more bite in the second half.
