I think it's more deflating than anything else, we have close to the best 6 playing halfback and our 2 choice fullback at 6. But hey as long as we lean into the all out attack that our halves are known for then im excited to see it play out

Thats fine, but this is the same thing aob would of trotted out, looks to me that the coach has been told where these blokes are playing, unless aob and holbrook are the only 2 people who think browns a 7.

It’s a matter of rip the band aid off with this halves selection. They are saying to Brown you are our main man, your our 7, run the team. Fletcher in six looking for opportunity and some creativity. Smith may have played himself out of the 7 with his performance against the dogs. Sharpe has a better long boot than Smith. I can see Smith doing some game management from hooker. Short kicking.

Anyway it’s not what I would have gone with but I can see reasons why they have gone this way. Sharpe is electric. As Billy said things just happen around him. So have him closer to the ball.

The odds of this working are low. The upside is obvious but it isnt likely, at all. Sharpe can't even run a block play without customising it in some way that doesnt end with him trying to make a line break.

Who's steering the ship exactly in this spine?
 
The stupid thing is the Cowboys are one team that don’t have a good forward pack either but they can definitely attack.

We have good attacking players too, just no idea how to use them unfortunately
