NRL Round 27 - Eels Vs Knights - 4:05pm Sunday 7th September - CommBank Stadium

[Thailands Novacastrian]

Amazing what happens when we throw it around a bit

[Joel.M]

Well at least we don’t get that record

[bremsstrahlung]

Kamikaze’d himself out of the game there. Not sure what the play was there.

Has deserved a rest for a number of weeks. Big ask for him to come in and play the number of games he has.

We can see he’s lacking at the moment, but I think he has a good attitude and hopefully that can go a long way to him improving and earning his way back into the team in the coming years - not just as injury cover.

Anyway. Hope he is okay.

[Lefty]

At least we scored before half time.

[MBQLD]

I need best to score and both the eels wingers and I’ll have won money

[slotmachine]

I don’t know what you guys are seeing in McEwen, his defence is not good

Unlike most forwards that roll off the Knights production line that are just honest toilers he brings some real physicality. And only 20. Plenty of time to work on his defence.

[Nuke]

McEwen scores even AFTER being run off the ball by the Parra centre. Good stuff.

[Matty James]

Just had to start playing when down 22-0, hey fellas?

[jamesgould]

Great to see, Cogger with a decent kick and good chase from McEwan. Nice way to end a good debut season from him.

[Joel.M]

Yep but they are doing it pretty easily through the middle so I don’t know if they’ll find the wingers

[MBQLD]

Well at least we don’t get that record

There’s two halves though…

[Billy]

Hopwood gets a chance to play long minutes - the big motor is the best part of his game.

Would have been expected to barely play first grade this year too. People on here writing him off already are lacking a bit of perspective.

[danknights]

Hopwood on. Hopefully makes a good go of it. Shame for hunt, he needed to go up there instead of staying on the ground, too many elbows around.

[bremsstrahlung]

Did they just say Hopwood is the 43rd player used this year?

That seems an awful lot.

[JRT211]

so many players I never want to see again. Looking over team list next year, it’s okay. But we get bashed up the middle with ease and besides mooney and saulo looking thin next year. Desperately need this catching coach on board too

[Joel.M]

Why did we turn it up now??

This team ****s me

[Breen3]

Absolutely no kick chase this is an embarrassment

[Matty James]

Why is Arthur standing so ****ing deep on the kick? No wonder Parra are starting their sets on their own 40m line.

[Sarge]

Lol. Jsaf, we haven't lost respect for the coach and want to send him out on a win. Next minute.

Just laughable how inept we are. Like we don't even train.

Please **** off quickly AOB.

AOB is gone but you are kidding yourself if you think all our problems have
