Papalii dosen't fit the mould of what POS is looking for in his middles, ie not the right body shape 190 cms+.... POS likes one dimension one speed and not much skill....Still cannot believe we are not resigning Adam Elliot, same principle to much skill....Why would the knights want a skilfull middle who can link either side with the halves.... It's only been the winning formula of the winning team the past four years.....

I like Elliott too (although also don’t care if he leaves) but everyone can see our shape looked 10x better than it’s looked with Elliott in a really long time the moment Crossland went to 13.

Your take on POS’ preference of forwards is interesting considering his biggest forward target so far in terms of $ offered (Latu) is literally the exact opposite of everything just described.

This really doesn’t make sense to me

Crossland is a superior 13, thanks to him being a halfback all his life until the NRL, he has superior ability to move the ball, he is much quicker, adds a kicking threat in general play, more mobile.

Only thing id be keeping Elliot for is a rotation prop and that’s only on a reduced contract as he is hardly on the field (another area Crossland is better at)

Like someone mentioned earlier Elliot’s best days are behind him but he could offer a little something on the bench as a prop

What doesn't make sense? Elliot fit is a mile better then Pheonix at 13. I would say Pheonix is still the best 9 the club has...TDS would have been better and Arthur is a long way behind both TDS and Crossland. Arthur's best chance is if his old man ends up coach....

I wasn't referring to targets champ, signing's, plural, not near misses or the one that got away.
