The team has a week to regroup and recover before we play the 6th placed Fins in Perth.

We will be able to field a stronger team next week. From what AOB said at the press conference last night, Best, Friz, Gamble should be available to play and possibly JSaf as well. Hopefully Sharpe will have recovered from his calf injury.

Today or tomorrow we should announce Dom Young has been resigned and he is expected to play for us in Perth.

Ponga may also be selected if he is fit to play after the Origin game next week.

We will have to wait as see If Marzhew is fit to play as he looked to have suffered a bad arm injury late in the game last night.

The way the dolphins play attacking football is good to watch.
You can see Woolfe is slowly making his mark on that team and getting results.
Also helps that Katoa is a generational talent.

I'm worried about this one, they are a lot better team than when we last played them.
 
If Ponga and Sharpe are available who we pickling at 7. I think I prefer Hastings. Whoever the 7 is they should be picked on form, not club politics.
 
Some might return, hopefully JSaf, Frizell, Ponga, Sharpe with Best, Hetherington, Elliott unlikely and Leo susp one more week. My guesswork only. Concerned for Marzhew inj but could have Dom.

Leo was suspended for 4 matches, he will not be back next week.

Hastings 26 missed 1 tackle.

All the other stats pretty even.
That’s Hastings first game in the FG. Cogger playing most of the year.

IDK its the lesser of two evils.
 
my suggested changes, 1 Ponga, 4 Hunt, 5 Marzhew/Dom, 6 Sharpe, 8 JSaf, 9 Arthur, 10 Frizell,
Bench Croker, Jones, ESL, McEwen
Out McCarthy, Hastings, Grecean, Cant
If Marzhew fit then Dom in for Schiller

I’d pick Gamble and Sharpe to be honest.

Hastings fantasy points are going to look a lot better too because he plays selfishly.

I’m definitely struggling to see what people saw in Hastings … he killed the attack stone dead almost every time he touched the ball. His non-stop runs were so easily shut down.

Cogger wasn’t the greatest but he did ice one chance for our only try, and got the ball to where it needed to go most of the time.

Hastings may have only missed one tackle as well, but it must have been the one he fell off on Tedesco for the Roosters’ first try?
 
Hastings is rubbish, been saying it all year and finally everyone got to see it....I mean the bloke was horrible in NSW cup also.

Croker is useless as a prop, his runs are so soft......if we are going to be starting with the same pack we did against the roosters then our only chance is moving the ball around.

Second half we went back to boring one out crap and got done.
