NRL Round 13 - Dragons Vs Knights - 8:00pm Friday 30th May - Jubilee Stadium

Going to be funny if we get to last few games of the season and we're hoping for Penrith to lose so we avoid another spoon.

Oh man, that takes me back to 2007, remember when the Knights scored 14 points in the last 10 minutes of their season to avoid the spoon and hand it to the Panthers?

Man if Marz could catch a ball, he’s such an invaluable player for us. I’ve gotta gove Hunt a lot of praise, he’s unreal under the high ball.

Basically the opposite of Marzhew, great in the air but gets folded in yardage carries. He has a huge future though.

Imagine having Hunt and Young on the wings as serious aerial threats but then that makes marzhew the odd man out.

Gagai even at his age is still very dangerous with a bit of space, still got that ability to move laterally without slowing down.

Aside from in late 2023 you only really see it when Ponga isn’t in the team. Whether it’s AOB or it’s how Kalyn plays, that’s just a basic thing we do wrong consistently. Everything is funnelled to and through Ponga.
One positive to look forward to is Gags passing at will to Dom. It’s atleast one thing to look forward to with this AWFUL attack.

Can’t stand the commentary - was calling the decision to rest ponga “outrageous”, yet he was ruled out with an ankle injury (real or not).

But for the last couple months they’ve excused his performances because he’s “playing injured”.

We made 15 errors overall and 7 of those made by Hunt.

Probably half of them came from having a crack under the high ball but that’s not ideal.

When Hunt goes for a high ball in defence he generally comes down with it, but for some reason he only goes for a bat back in attack and almost never ends up with possession.
He's probably coached to do it, but I'd love him to catch the ball and try to score.
