Interview where Steve Simpson says the squad is mostly local and says we can win against the big Warriors side because we are harder working and the kicking games of Butler and Votano can get us good field position.

I always liked Simpson as a player who was tough and uncompromising. It is typical that he has got the best out of a mainly local team.
You can bet they will all have a red hot go today.

nervous start from the Knights - but luckily the Warriors knocked on.

Warriors are making easy metres, but can't hold the ball for 6.

Butler ended our first attacking set with a dribble into the ingoal, but warriors got back into the field.
We are looking stronger now.

Cooper Votano steps through 3 defenders and scores under the posts - palms off a prop on the way
6 - 0 after 9 minutes
Commentators are calling his run brilliant - can't argue

12 - 0
Vallentish made a break and was held up over the line.
3 tackles later Aston Allen (prop) crashes over under the posts
Butler gets to kick from in from again

12 - 12 - number 12 crashes through 4 defenders on the line to get his second.
Guy looks like he could play reserve grade

12 - 12
at halftime.
Knights have nearly scored 3 times off kicks, but Warriors held on.
On the other side, Warriors look like bashing the door down every run and we are lucky to hold them.
It's a real battle between brains and brawn.

16 - 16 - ktc

Warriors kept passing all the way down the field - at least 3 forward passes in that - but great passage of play for Warriors
