2024 Season

Yeah still convinced Galvin > Roosters will be a thing, he’s already asked for multiple releases from Wests (pretty much every time they signed another half, which shows he’s a bit entitled, very Roosters attitude) and on the field he looks very frustrated with the players around him frequently. Has a very similar playing style to Luke Keary despite having a very different frame too. And we know the Chooks genuinely have a lot of cap space atm.

When they signed Chad all the chat was about how they wanted his off field mentoring more than anything else.

The Tigers are going to have a problem very soon, Fainu is on 500k as a 19 year old and Luai on 1.2m. It’s going to be tough for the Tigs to offer Galvin his market value.

On the Broncos. Plenty of clubs in their entire history have never had a golden generation come through their system like this one:

Payne Haas
Pat Carrigan
David Fifita
Reece Walsh
Ezra Mam
Kotoni Staggs
Herbie Farnworth
Tom Flegler
Selwyn Cobbo

And then on top of talents like these, a bunch of other guys who are good first graders. They got themselves a premiership winning #7 to tie it all together. And it feels like the window is already shut now. Squandered it on big braining an unnecessary transition away from Wayne Bennett to Seibold, followed by giving the job to the dumbest old boy they could find.

Not winning a comp is one of the great bag fumbles & I can’t help but think if they had just kept Wayne, they may have two more premiership trophies at Red Hill right now, let alone one.

I’m looking forward to the Spoonbowl game tonight. I previously lived close to Leichhardt Oval and now live in Eel territory. May the best team win.

Is this tigers backline playing tonight up there for worst backline of all-time? Surely one of our spoon teams can challenge that, but atleast we had a Dane Gagai sprinkled in there.

A very embarrassing end to the season by the Tigers.

And the Wests and Tigers factions are feuding. The club is a mess.

Besides the obvious, ie he plays for the roosters, can someone explain to me how the rugby convert is playing tonight after going to the Olympics given you have to finalise your squad before June 30? Was he registered before June 30 but given clearance for the Olympics?

Because roosters....that is all 🤣

Hey, they’re improving, in 2022 and 2023 they only won four games, this year they won six! They’d have avoided the spoon (to themselves) in previous years lol.
Brought stat this up to a few mates at work last week and they were even surprised with how little the Tigers have won in the last 3 years.

A mate of mine is convinced they only got to add him to the squad with the stipulation he could only play Cup this season, but yeah now they've just been allowed to play him because Chooks I guess. He was registered after June 30.
