For my part: Just go get Jonah. Make him the first priority. Don’t flirt with Walker and then try to get Jonah when that doesn’t pan out. More likely to end up with nothing, especially if he knows he’s the silver medal.
 
The Fox article doesn't actually report we are or will be chasing Walker, it just says we should. Also says we should get Brandon Smith with him.

That’s absolutely not the answer, chase a 4th choice halfback and pay him overs to come😂 it’s like signing Matt Arthur to a top 30 deal when you’ve already got Crossland, Brailey, Jones,J Davis (better than Arthur) and Malachi Smith. You wonder why the cup is warped and the club is a shambles.

You could not be further off the mark, Pezet (only 21) was second string halfback to Hughes before he got injured. Also he's a Newcastle Junior who obviously hasn't hit his peak. Plus anyone in the storm system in the spine especially has proven to be a worthy investment (ever heard of Hynes or Drinkwater).

As for Arthur (19 years old) under 19s origin captain, which i haven't seen davis do. Davis left Eels because he was stuck behind Arthur, Hands and Lussick (wow what competition) and comes to newcastle and can't even crack it in our cup as a season regular. Arthur does everything Davis does but to a higher standard IMO and is a well off improvement. It seems like Newcastle wont be extending Brailey which is why i think the signing of Arthur makes sense. Maybe watch Arthur a bit closer coz your opinion of his game is fairly off the mark, bit like how it is with Pezet as well

Yeah i made sure i included the word speculating , the brandon smith part is absolute dribble. I actually think we may have already landed the next big 9 in arthur. Kid can play

Has never been the same since Barnett went to the Warriors. Reported DSaf thought Knights didn’t do enough to extend his mate Barnett. Looks like he has been uninterested since.
But, really liked his last month of football since he was tapped by O’Sullivan.

Yeah mate they safiti's boys are intresting i actually had a conversation with petero civoniceva who had worked with the boys in the fijian squad early on in there careers and how much potentional they had.

I Still have not worked them out fully, early in there career it looked like they did not want to hurt anyone. Now im not sure if its a lack of drive i know it may sound like a sterotype but most fijians thst i have met at least are pretty laid back .

Anyway i wish Dan well if he goes to the dolphins and im not sure how much petero still has to do with the dolphins but i think he needs that role model /mentor to get back to his best . Although hopefully not when he plays against us.

“Further to that, if you deviate at all from said game plan, your name will automatically be entered into the lucky dip draw, for our bi-weekly halves reserve grade rotation.

We find it helps to instil confidence in our halves and really keeps them on their toes.

It also ensures our other players remain sharp too, as they can never be sure who exactly will be playing alongside them from one week to the next.

Some might say this type of coaching doesn’t get the best out of individual players or foster team cohesion. But as someone who has been to four grand finals, you can be assured I know what success looks like.

I may have absolutely no idea how to replicate it but I have witnessed it and that’s more or less the same thing.

No new info on Leo, it says the club is trying to re-sign him but hasn’t happened yet which we’ve known for months, and speculates that the Panthers and Storm will be interested if he becomes a free agent. Also notes the Knights interest in Jonah Pezet and says the Storm will formally offer him a new deal this week, but no indication on how likely he is to accept.

Imagine if we ended up with his brother and lost Leo.

Everyone says not to worry, but deeply concerning that Schiller and Arthurs are yet to be formally announced.
