Adam O'Brien replacement?

Honestly, if the players aren’t trying after being tapped on the shoulder they don’t deserve to be NRL players. The roster needs a huge overhaul we lack in the halves and on the wings. We don’t have genuine speed since Dom left.

The club needs a clean out and to bring new guys in.
 
The thing that stands out to me is that we actually look poorly coached. We should be looking at the roster and thinking how we open up and get our weapons into the game. And we do have some serious weapons. There are no slick looking set plays that unlock Ponga into space... or getting Best one on one with poor defenders. There seem to be no tactics other than trying to do conservative boring low risk plays.
And then we come up against teams who we should beat, and they seem to have done their homework on us and have a decent game plan.

Week after week we don't try anything new. From scrums we just run it one out rather than set plays. Even last year we were abysmal until the streak, and that came off the back of some players hitting a purple patch. I just don't see things improving with AOB.

Yep give it another week and Gardener will come out and say Obi has the full backing of the board 😳
 
Proper judgment of Flanno will occur over the next 18 months as he shapes his squad to fit how he wants to play.

No doubt he's improved the Dragons who have an average roster but ultimately still have an absolutely elite halfback which is worth it's weight in gold as we all know.

Despite getting the best out of their other top tier player in Lomax he also created a situation where a local junior who envisioned playing his entire career at the Dragons and is now arguably their best player has walked away from the club despite their marked improvement. Massive red flag in anyone's book.

Lomax is also on close to a million, it's a big blow but his on about $400k more than should be as even an elite winger.

I knew Macca in the day . Top bloke passed far to early . Set the club up with the mantra " be the player other players want to play with " or something like that 😀. I am getting old . I guess somewhere along the generations thats been lost !

He took the sharks from the cellar and won a premiership....before anybody says they were taking performance enhancing crap etc, I don't really care....I just want to see another premiership before I'm dead

Their forward pack went from powderpuffs to genetic freaks, proven to have done peptides over a 3 year period, but were clean for a few weeks during their finals campaign, incredible that title was not stripped. Worse cheating then the storm cap scandle that cost them premierships.
