Schiller is a significant upgrade to Jenkins. Don’t let one bad game fool you. He put it on us in the final last year.

It’s also very hard to have a good game on the wing when your team is getting smashed that badly, and no team gets smashed that badly just because their winger is playing bad.

It was a rotten performance all round, Ricky wanted there to be consequences, a guy who isn’t gonna be there next year is always the easiest to drop. I wouldn’t read anything more into it than that.

He’s a raw talent who’ll need development but I think the club’s track record with outside backs speaks for itself. Not so great with halves, but every winger or centre we’ve brought in has improved, sometimes drastically.

Don Furner gives his opinion that a trade won't happen, then says Stuart hasn't mentioned it and they haven't discussed it - which kinda sounds like it would happen if Ricky wanted it to.

Is it fair to say after all the talk of "quality depth" our 2024 recruitment was a big flop?

KPP has obviously exceeded expectations but you wouldn't sign Cartwright, Pryce, Cogger and Jenkins if you had a do over.

Unfortunately we are stuck with Cartwright, Pryce and Jenkins for 2025 and Cogger for 2026 tying up Cap money as well as no improvement in team for 1-2 years

I think Cartwright has done ok. Didn't look out of place, just hasn't had many chances. Cogger and Jenkins are Miller reincarnated, on multi year deals and should hopefully be out the door early.

Now Cartwright is gone and we now have 2 spaces to fill in our 30 should we be considering Sutton on a Development contract as back up to our halves, especially 7 as we seem strong 1-5 and 8-13

I don't think Tuala has done much wrong, I would give Marzhew a spell in cup personally. Schiller could be massive outside Best.

Tuala hasn’t done much at all.

I think Tuala has tried his arse off this year. His physical attributes are his downfall. Not big enough to be a battering ram. Not explosive, not agile like gagai. Not super fast. Not tall. Not a huge jumper.
Effort 100%, but just doesn't offer enough in yardage/attack.
