Anyone in the know regarding our Flegg squad this year.
Have heard Michael Dobson is the coach for this team but heard nothing else.

Is Jarome Falemoe still around as he was one of our best centres in sg ball/flegg last year
Bummer about Nailagoliva.
Just doing the best of that list - half of them will play reserve grade - and some guys like Fletcher Myers, Will Pryce, Falomoe etc are under 21 and not on that list.Linnane won’t be there with ACL. Unless you were just mentioning him.
Fletcher Hunt has been close to the best player in Ball this year (together with Hopwood) and should play 6 with Sutton at 7. You have excluded Beau Slade who is in his second year of Ball (played NSW CHS last year) and was great off the bench today, as he was last year.Heap of those players I know little or nothing about, but
1 Sharpe
2 Aoake
3 De Courcey
4 McCarthy
5 Forsythe
6 Sutton
7 Linnane
8 Bryan
9 Davis
10 Sua (I assume they mean Sebastien Sua)
11 McKewn
12 Salesa-Leaumoana
13 Myles Martin
14 Malachi Smith
15 Jack Cullen
16 ????
17 ????

Great story Fletcher Hunt. Wouldn;t have had the opportunity if it wasn't for Linnane's injury, who I hope comes back firing like he was looking. But huge congrats to Hunt to have taken opportunity very well. Physically and ability wise looks on par with Linnane.Fletcher Hunt has been close to the best player in Ball this year (together with Hopwood) and should play 6 with Sutton at 7. Hunt lacks Linnane’s speed but is more robust. His versatility is an advantage, as yesterday in Ball he played the first half at 5/8 than went to hooker early in the second half and then replaced Aoke (HIA) at left centre in the last 10 minutes. A future 14 as he progresses through the grades.Great story Fletcher Hunt. Wouldn;t have had the opportunity if it wasn't for Linnane's injury, who I hope comes back firing like he was looking. Nice one PTB.I went over to the Centre of Excellence yesterday to watch the junior reps.
It was a difficult day for any player to stand out as both games were very physical and generally played through the centre third.
We were well down in both games and showed immense character to fight back. The Matts boys have done this in every game. Their full back Blair showed class in the difficult conditions, great hands and speed, Sommerville in the centres is very physical and came up with some great try saving defence. Busted his shoulder late in the second half putting on a big hit.
The Ball side were totally out played in the first half. The Dragons were too physical on both sides of the ball and exposed us with their pace out wide.
The second half started with a hip drop tackle on half Lozza where centre Wilson DeCourcey really resented the tackle on his team mate. He had a fair bit to say which fired up his team mates and changed the course of the game. Our boys started to play more direct with more physicality and began to wear down the bigger Dragon’s pack. They played the long game and came up with the match winning try right at the end.
It was a great team effort, DeCourcey had a great second half, Hopwood and Slade were strong in the middle.
Give him this SG ball season to see how he goes, lots of good talk about him from Penrith. If he gets a chance in Jflegg that'll be interesting. I believe Aoake played planty of flegg last yr who is the other SG centre and Aus school boy.So DeCourcey is a potential future NRL player?
I am not so sure Aoake played Flegg last year. He came into the Ball side for the semi-final to cover the injury to McCarthy and was retained for the GF after the nasty concussion received by Falomoe.Give him this SG ball season to see how he goes, lots of good talk about him from Penrith. My guess would be that DeCourcey goes up to Flegg this season, once the Ball competition is finished. Then next season he goes into NSW Cup as a 20 year old and has a year there to develop his game in open age. The Club will likely resign Gagai for a further season (2025) with the succession plan being to replace him with DeCourcey in 2026.Give him this SG ball season to see how he goes, lots of good talk about him from Penrith.
