Marathon Stadium Awards 2023!

I've pulled up onto the red carpet in my sick ride. Flying solo tonight but look out coz the ladies will come running to this motor.

Ok, before we get into the 2023 awards, we have some earlier seasons to catch up on. Since 2008 the MSKOTW points have been added up every week, and 3-2-1 points awarded to the highest scoring. This makes sure the points are consistent week to week, and don't get skewed when a heap of people vote one week and hardly any the next. Our previous winners are:

In 2021 we finished the season strong to sneak into the finals, but went out in week one again. We were led around the park by a player who's sadly faced a lot of injuries ever since. Here's the leaderboard:

In 2022 we faced a challenging season, our halfback leaving us before the season began, and key members of the side succumbing to long term injuries. There were plenty of points to players who showed desire each week, here's the leaderboard:

And in our final catch-up award, we only started MSKOTW for the second NRLW season in 2022, but what a season it was! We dominated the season from start to finish, and won the club's first premiership since 2001. Here's the leaderboard:

Our first awards for the evening are our signings of the year.

For the men's side, Tyson Gamble picked up 3 votes, Greg Marzhew 6 votes, but our winner with 8 votes was:

And for the women's side, we had Georgia Roche and Jasmin Strange with 2 votes, but with 6 votes congratulations to our winnner:

Most improved is up next.

For the men's side Bradman Best got 1 vote, Leo Thompson 2 votes, but runaway winner in this category with 13 votes was:

Most Improved: Phoenix Crossland

For the women's side we had a tie, in a category that had a lot of different nominees, 2 votes was enough for our joint winners:

Most Improved: Kayla Romaniuk & Tiana Davison
 
A few Lower Grade awards, with 9 votes the clear winner in our reserve grade side was:

NSW Cup Player of the Year: Adam Clune

And we had a three way tie in Jersey Flegg:

Jersey Flegg Player of the Year: Malachi Smith, Fletcher Sharpe & Kyle McCarthy
