English Recruits Watch

Haven’t seen much of both English recruits except highlights but both look good in local ESL comp, my concern is how they will adapt to our conditions, the more physical and faster game.
Will obviously take a little while to adapt to everything, living away from home, climate change, home sickness, physicality and game speed and fitness.
I am not counting on them to initially succeed but hope that both will have some success.
Based on our current squad signed for 2024 we will be strong without them admittedly without Young and Fitz but we have Tuala, Maps, Lucas and I assume new signing Cartwright to cover.
Pryce and Pearce-Paul are a bit of a gamble but given time they may fit in and become 1sts regulars but I don’t think it will happen straight away but I am hopeful it will happen.
Some on here expect instant success from both, let’s give them time to show us

I’m struggling to see where Pryce is going to fit into our spine. The obvious answer is 6 but I think Gamble plays well for the team there and I wouldn’t want to disrupt the cohesion they have built through this season for a few highlights. I think he may need to work his way in at centre with Gags pushed out to the wing.

Hope when our Pommies arrive and settle in and get on our patch of turf

there better then Luke Thompson for the Bulldogs. Hearing they can't wait
to put him on the next ✈️ Quantas out of here.

6 for sure in my opinion. I know Gambo is going well, but Pryce’s ceiling is far higher and he needs to be there. Just my opinion of course. Gamby would be a solid 14 option maybe.

Every successful team needs a Tyson Gamble type player. He gets better with each game and is a game and as tough as they come.
Just have to look at his involvement on both sides of the against the Raider to appreciate what he brings.
Gets better with every game imo.

I’ve put together some highlights of Will Pryce
Here’s the video:
looks good, might be off. but the highlights gave me Milford vibes (not in a bad way) could actually see him getting time at centre or wing tbh rather than being thrown to the wolves at 6

i like what gamble provides at 6 he is happy to feed Kalyn and the outside backs the ball

Good night for our two new recruits so far. KPP looking a class above for Wigan as they go top of the table. Pryce is back in the starting side for Huddersfield and has converted 2/2 to bring his team back into it against Leigh.

Pryce finally gets another game starting only for it to get abandoned with the floodlights going out. Couldn't make it up.

Yeah think Gamble will be our 6 come round 1 next year. Pryce in reggies with Cogger in the halves to begin the year. KPP probably on the bench with his size, versatility and seems to have some ball-playing ability from what I've seen.

Pryce has definitely got the talent to succeed in the NRL but with how Gamble is going right now, can't see Pryce leapfrogging Gamble atm for the 6 jersey at the start of the next season. Defence in the NRL is obviously a lot harder compared to SL but good to some depth for a change having 5 options in the halves out of the top 30 squad next year with Gamble, Hastings, Cogger, Pryce and Rivett.
