He scaped us into the finals, but you can't deny he inherited a very good roster, and since we have gone backward.
I think, give Flanno a crack. Just 2 years. We might get a deal with his son at halfback. But looking at how Bulldogs are building I doubt he will leave them now. He's won a comp, seems fair but hard to. Like what he has to say in a commentary.
The only thing that put me off with him was the whole peptides saga.

Sounds good for the dogs. It's funny, he could be an AOB, or a Fitzgibbon at the Sharks. Rocks or Diamonds. If we pulled the trigger on AOB earlier we could have made a play maybe.

It sounds like a lot for a rookie coach, but to be fair, he has a very extensive record of winning as an assistant for a team built around the greatest generation of local talent in the history of rugby league, after losing a lot with just a pretty good team. He’s a sure thing…
One good thing about Ciraldo is he actually has been an NYC head coach, and a very successful one too. I don't think AOB was ever a head coach in the lower grades, he was always an assistant before coming to the Knights.

I think AOB was also a NYC head coach, around 2009-10 at Melbourne I think?

He worked as an assistant to Brad Arthur with the NYC. I actually feel like I remember one of the talking points when we signed him being that he was a career assistant coach and hadn't actually coached a team himself. I wonder if there's any correlation with that and why things aren't going so well.

But I think you're right Josh ... it feels like having been a head coach at some level is a minimum experience needed to be a head coach in the NRL.
