Players to watch.
Max Bradbury 8 for NSW - when we won the Mathews title in 2019, Bradbury was our player of the year and MOTM in the grandfinal. He was basically an impact forward who came on and scattered bodies everywhere while turning the game in a whirlwind 15 or 20 minutes. He looks a bit like Mitch Barnett, and I remember saying at the time that it looked like someone had let Mitch Barnett onto the field in under 16s. He suffered an injury in the local comp after that, and hasn't looked as strong since, but in a big game he might pull out a big effort.
Oryn Keeley 11 for NSW - has been a very strong player for us since under 16s, but he always had poor hands and spilled the pill far too often. He has fixed that this year and was our best in under 19s and is now close to our best forward in under 21s. A Strong second rower.
Paul Bryan 10 for Qld - A new recruit this year from Qld who did a fair bit of training with firstgrade and was our hardest working forward in under 19s. He plays long minutes, put his hand up to do a mountain of work and makes very few mistakes.
Eddie Hampson 11 for Qld - a second row from Qld who is reported to have signed for us for next year.
Jonah Pezet - 7 for NSW. He went 2 seasons in our juniors without losing a game. His team lost a few, but only when he was out injured. He won us the comp in Mathews in 2019 and didn't lose a game in 2020 before the comp was shut down with us undefeated. Now the captain of the Melbourne Flegg side, many say he is the best junior we have produced in decades.
