Most of the things that the team does that’s not up to first grade standard are by reserve grade players. I get people see it as an excuse but the players we have out makes it so hard to compete against the good sides.AOB has to go, there are so many things that our team does that are not up to first grade standard and it's not just one player, it's the whole team. Clifford for example has lost the spark and drive he had last year, what is going on?
They couldn’t even muster up the enthusiasm or initiative to try something like that when they got the penalty at 26-0 down with 30 seconds left. Most brainless side I’ve ever seen play the game currently.I don't know why we don't change the game plan. With all the one out running we seem to be trying to play that old grinding style that doesn't work anymore. They need to just start throwing the ball around, offloading, trying things. Look at the Panthers, that's what they do and the players seem to love playing that style. I mean what's the worst that could happen, we might lose by 40pts? Probably gonna happen anyway with the one out running.
If you think AOB trains them to run one out you are mistaken, no coach does that the players get lazy and don't support each other.I don't know why we don't change the game plan. Obi said he didn't agree with that and Ponga said that was his decisionCouldn't stop laughing about that decision.
Is AOB so deluded that he thought his side were a chance of holding the storm scoreless while putting on 4 converted tries in the second half?
I’d like formal apologies from @Lord of the Skraelings and @mozza for being chief ring leaders of laughing at my comments over the past 2 years. Been nailed on correct on all of them regarding this ‘coach’.![]()
Disappointing response. You’ve lacked the banter on here much like your boys have lost the fight on the field. Mozza went out swinging harder, didn’t expect that. You are assuming we care about what you think or want. @cowboyman
I came to say I don't have any answers, but sacking OB isnt it.
No chance we win games if we don't come to a game with the right attitude.
The players are professionals and should know they need to turn up.
I was gonna say, surely to goodness he wasn’t on his walkie talkie yelling out “take the two!!!”Obi said he didn't agree with that and Ponga said that was his decision
What’s the basis for it? Or just random rumours?Does anyone here actually know AOB and Joey had a falling out? Comments on Facebook seem to go on they had a falling out last month
I knew with his channel nine commitments that he wouldn't be able to be involved as much but have seen several comments on social media regarded Joey and AOB so was wondering if anyone on this forum has heard about this rumour. What’s the basis for it? Or just random rumours?
I don’t think Joey was ever going to have too much time for involvement once the season started.
At one point 3 or 4 weeks ago Johns was talking to Danika and said he had a session with the halves but it was hard to get time with the squad through the season.I knew with his channel nine commitments that he wouldn't be able to be involved as much but have seen several comments on social media regarded Joey and AOB so was wondering if anyone on this forum has heard about this rumour.
