Your team v Broncos

You don't see many upsets in the last round of seniors.
Coaches have a hell of a job getting a team that won't make the finals up for a game when all the players know they will start a 3 day bender as soon as the final whistle blows, unless they pick up an injury in a nothing game.

Totally different story in juniors. In juniors, many of the kids are playing their last game of their lives in an NRL system, so they want to play the game of their lives. Upsets are the norm in the last round of juniors.

@Billy can you read this?
Will any be rested?
Says O'Brien plans to rest Jake Saifiti and Mitch Barnett, but no one else because Pearce Ponga and Brailey have all recently had time off.
Also says he would be tempted to play Dan Saf if the game was must win, but will keep him for the finals.

so pack will have King, Momoisea and maybe Johns and Randall I expect.

Should get Momoisea and maybe Saulo more game time.

Actual quote from the article;

Reminds me of the joke about the trialist who was told the coach would pull him off at halftime and he said "In Dubbo you only get oranges".

"I actually spoke to those two guys after the game on Thursday night just to let them know I was thinking about putting them back in the shop and polishing them up a little bit," O'Brien said.

Sounds like we are more worried about a forward picking up a suspension then we are of getting an injury.

1 Ponga
2 Hunt
3 Mann
4 Best
5 Tuala
6 Clifford
7 Pearce
8 Sue
9 Brailey
10 Klemmer
11 Frizell
12 Jones
13 Watson

14 Randall
15 King
16 Momoisea
17 Saulo
That would be the go.
I'd consider swapping Randall and Watson.

Also dropping Mann for anyone but we know that won't happen.

They could go with 2 utilities on the bench to give themselves the option of giving Pearce, Ponga and Brailey an early mark if we run up a big lead.
Sasagi or Hoy maybe.

I am excited about us playing semis with hopefully one win but as for this week I will go with the selected side, strong or rested.
Dont see any reason to play DSaf this week, can understand resting JSaf as he has had it tough for a little while with DSaf and Klem missing. Barnett is full on so a rest is likely good for him. No doubt there may be other changes due to injuries or need to give some players a run.
Unless injuries I would be less likely to accept the spine resting, maybe late game rest but not starting rest.
So if We leave out DSaf, JSaf, Barnett and play our accepted 1-7 then only our pack is altered. If we play Klem, Brailey, King, Frizell, Jones and Sue, we look ok/strong leaving our bench, Watson, Randall, Momoisea and Saulo, understandably weaker than preferred but ok, covers most positions.
Bottom line is I don’t care who is in or out, look forward to selection, but I want us fit, healthy and as strong as can be for semi No1
Not happy with Mann but can’t find a reason to drop him, alternative is no better
