I’d be putting a 400k contract under his nose tmoz. Idiot but a handy player especially at the right price. He may just be desperate for some coin.
 
Match payments for the rest of this season and then 2 years at $350,000 a year and have him for back up in the finals .
 
Yeah I’ve heard some let’s say colourful stories about the bloke which I won’t repeat here. Absolute fruit loop, makes TPJ look like a choirboy. It’s a no for me.
 
Vaughan would surely help us win a comp. We are more chance with rather than without him. The old firm for NSW being Friz, Klem, and Vaughan would have a chip on their shoulder.
 
He has just cost saints any chance of doing damage in the comp this year. I can't say no with any more fervor.
 
Btw, he was banned for 8 weeks as a saints player. He has subsequently had his contract torn up. The chances of the NRL registering a new contract for him for this year would be slim I'd say.
 
Don’t need him, our middle forward strength is good, money can be better spent for other positions, he would at best be bench player.
Reported that he WAS on $800k at Saints, wanted out previously but when told wouldn’t get that sort of money elsewhere he changed his mind and stayed, for the money, NO THANKS
 
Feedback re the tearing up of the contract was that it definitely wasn't JUST ABOUT THE PARTY - I think the last in a long line of straws 😋...

Like Sammyyy said - we are trying to build not destroy a culture here...It is a hard pass from me too
