I just read about the Titans.
Mal Meninger might actually be good for him and I hope he is if that happens.
But if not he could turn out to be their next Hayne.
 
Not sure if others are the same, but I find it enjoyable that we are not one of the clubs this year with a war chest for recruitment. As great as it is getting marquee players in, I'm stoked with the squad we have now, and it's nice to not be involved in all the transfer dramas (Latrell, Holmes, etc.) during the offseason.

Not so sure. He is on about 500-600k if rumours are to be believed. We already had 900k spare this year for Val. Used to front load contracts in the end. Get rid of Granville and we are more then ready to offer Latrell a contract.

Been up in Townsville and loves the place. The guys have taken him out hunting and fishing already.

And watching juniors come through who will push in to first grade, getting opportunities in the next season or two. We should only be recruiting in the future to fill holes in positions where the juniors haven't quite been produced.

Mal's plan so far for the Titans has been a disaster, and revolves around blaming the previous coach. Not sure if that's something he would want.
They don't really have a vision for anything at the moment.
Why would Latrell go there when he can possibly go to the Cowboys if they can make room for him, or Tigers.

Granville must be a good negotiator. That's Haganesque.
 
I'd be happy to see Latrell at the Cowboys (if he's not here) but you're going to struggle to move Granville on for that money.
 
Latrell has apparently asked Rugby Australia if they would be interested in him and seeing all the nrl teams seem to have pulled there offers and the roosters want him gone asap it may be his only choice . Imo let him go if that's what he wants , every time we lose a talent another one steps up to take his place so im not worried about him leaving the sport .
