Put that loss down to origin, a few injuries and Gavet being a flog

Nope.

Put that loss down to 17 players thinking they only needed to suit ip to win!
I hardly watched the game after 20 minutes.
Why? Because we didnt respect the Dogs and never tried to earn the advantage line.

Well done to the dogs for giving everything to win.

After the past 4 years, this team should know that it takes 110% effort to be a team, we played the 80 in 3rd gear and never tried to EARN the win.

True. It was exactly the same attitude that got us the first five losses

After the ship we've been through the last 10 years as a club, our team does NOT deserve to ever disrespect the opponent or EVER think we need to just turn up to win. We HAVE NOT earned that right. Not until we are a team who makes the finals year after year.

Their last try was a no try
Gavet being binned, well luckily for us Tariq sims case changed the rule to being sin binned only 2 weeks ago
Thanks tariq

It doesnt matter, the knights never wouldve been in danger of losing the match if they'd bothered to show up and play, once you have zero respect for the opposition those controversial decisions start to go agaisnt you, when you're leading by 20-30 points it isnt an issue when they do.

We never deserved that win. The Dogs were the much better team even when we were leading. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again - we ALWAYS drop the games we are meant to, and should, win. At this rate we don’t deserve to play finals footy at all, and quite frankly I don’t think we’ll even make the 8 anyway. We’ve got the Roosters away next week so that looks like another embarrassing display coming right up.

What the hell are we doing in the sheds that makes us run out to play like utter sh*t in the second half? Gavet, Mann and Buhrer are crap and are liabilities to this team. We’ve gifted the Warriors and now the Dogs the game on a silver platter. The forward pass to CHN that wasn’t called up was missed completely and Smith lost possession TWICE in the lead up to his try, yet when Maumalo maintains possession it’s a no try (what?). One last thing - Ashley Klein is an absolute wankstain.

Goodnight.

Of course it matters. Bad calls are bad calls, whether you're 30 points behind or 30 points ahead. They cost us tonight simple.

Goodnight.

Our issues tonight were beyond nitpicking calls. We got bit on the *** like they deserved.

Need to think of something positive so here’s a team that could turn up and play well vs Roosters next week:

1. Ponga
2. Hunt
3. Moga (played well) square peg in square hole (won’t get picked)
4. Ramien
5. SKD
6. Watson
7. Pearce
8. Klem
9. Levi
10. DSaf
11. Sione
12. Barnett
13. Glasby
14. Mann
15. Guerra
16. JSaf
17. Ese Ese

They better turn up to that one. Geez our home form has been so bad this year. It’s like a disadvantage. If only we could turn it into an advantage like some other teams.

My point was, by that stage in the game agaisnt an inferior side they shouldn't be relying on bunker calls to get them the win, the fact they played so poorly to allow bunker decisions to decide the game is the issue.

Browny just looked like he was about to tie a noose in the press conference. He also took responsibility for not taking penalty goals when they were available

No, we cost ourselves tonight with stupid errors. Dogs were the much more determined and better team, and they deserved the win. Some bad calls for us but pinning our loss on bad calls takes responsibility away from us, and we need to be much better to make the finals.

Mann might be out injured.
Had to get needles in his sternum to come back on the field.

I'd swap Watson and Mann but otherwise looks good for mine.
