Haha Carry on
Moga was rusty at the start of last season after his opp there's no doubting that. He definently didn't play like he did in 2017.
If he is ready to play next year round one he will be rusty again. Thats just what happens after big opps and long periods not playing/training.

Moga had only trained with a new team for 2 weeks before his first game.
He was as rusty as hell and played like ****.
In the game he got injured he was finally looking reasonable, but before that he was the worst player in the side by a fair way.
All those blaming Ross for Moga playing like he hadn't touched a football all off season and was trying to fit into a side he hadn't even trained with are carrying the weird hatred you have for all things Newcastle to ridiculous extremes.

Moga did a no-look pass to where Ross should have been, but Ross did not run to support his centre. That is what I was disappointed at.

If they'd have practised that 50 times at training - fair enough - but I know they didn't because Moga only had a handful of training sessions, and half the time he was training with Sio instead of Ross.

If Griff is out for most or all of season surely we have option to name a replacement for part or all of season. Same would go for Moga if breaks down again or any player suffering season ending injury. If that is so we might actually have additional space.

Watson talks about moving to fullback.
Says 1 and 6 are pretty similar, especially the way we play the game.
Says running is his forte and he should be able to do more of that at fullback.

Quote
“It’ll probably just mean that I run the ball a bit more, which is my strength, so I’d be more than happy to do that.”
I know you’ve had a hard time dealing with the whole Watson situation. Do you think he will be able to lock down his spot, as well as being more effective on field?

I haven't had "a hard time" dealing with anything - except maybe all the abuse I cop for not being a sheep that agrees with the prevailing nonsense going around.
Unlike most people here, I'll watch him play a few games at fullback, and then decide if I like what he is doing, but I can't see why he wouldn't go OK.
If I don't like what he is doing, I'll say so, and then the usual conga line of suckholes can throw shade at me for having an opinion.

Hard time was a blunt way to put it, but I know what you mean.

Suckhole is now my word of the week.
