Yep 88. Climb into bed with the betting companies and they own you.
Honestly how dumb do you have to be to not even take a professional interesthttp://www.theherald.com.au/story/4529316/matautia-keeps-close-eye-on-rival-rabbitohs/?cs=306
Article where Pete Mataútia says he watches too much NRL and knows the strengths of all the centres he plays against.
You'd think all players should do their homework like that, but you often see interviews where players say they don't watch games at all, and presumably just rely on coaching briefings to know who they are up against.
100% 9 and fox are no different in any way, they provide the funds for the clubs to pay the players... no funds no game of this level.
Go back to the late 80s and that is where it started with the winfield cup... then the next level of moving forward was super league which is still the model they use today.
Us the fans dont matter and never will unless the fans produce 1billion in revenue a yr which wont happen.[/QUOTE]

Exactly 88 if we want the big $ which we are gettig from tv and gambling companies ofcourse we have to accomodate. Or we can get no $s and head back to the abc.
Lamb did that in one game toohttp://www.nrl.com/five-eighth-lamb-has-knights-singing/tabid/10874/newsid/104542/default.aspx
Article on Lamb. A graph in there compares playmaking stats with Hodko, and shows Lamb is leading on all but one stat.
A lot of what Lamb does doesn't look deliberate. The impression you get is a lot of tries seem lucky, but after a while you realise that he gets lucky a lot.Lamb did that in one game too
Will be very interesting to see where his numbers are in 3 months time. I won't be surprised if he right up there with the best. But paradoxically, neither will I be surprised if he doesn't
He did some amazing things last match. The stand out for me are the banana grabbers that curve towards the winger. He did two last week. Both were almost perfectly executed. The first one he did I watched in slow motion as he dropped it onto his foot without looking, and for that reason I wasn't sure if it was deliberate. Then when he did it a second time it occured to me how fkn good he is at doing that
I was in Phoenix, Arizona, when several Suns NBA players were arrested by the FBI, including one who was playing at the time with the Newcastle Falcons. The problem? What they call 'shaving'. Say the Suns were playing the Lakers and bookies had the Suns to win by 14 1/2. Players would lay off, get home by say 8, and all the 'smart' money was on the Lakers with the 14 1/2 start. For smart, read Las Vegas Mafia.
We see the trouble Simona is in, and you have to ask how far away are we from that? And look at the shady hangers on called 'professional punters' hanging around the players, á lá Foran?
Simonas bets were game impacting I dont give a hoot about his poor me story with his bets and defrauding charity he should be in gaol joke his not.
