Agreed he's not needed but definitely wouldn't be complaining if we got him. Talented, young, big and aggressive winger and has already played several first grade games. He's welcome here imo.

He's a back now but obviously he's going to have to move into the forwards full time as he gets even bigger.

He was in a backrower in his juniors and he played backrow and centres in the under 20s.

Don't be fool by him playing wing. The Broncos coach has an obsession with size over skill.

I've always seen him play at wing/centre only, only a few times in the backrow but it seems like you know more about him than me

I think a large majority of rookies have poor hands, some worse than others but that can always be fixed. He's obviously talented, big and highly regarded, if he ends up here I'd have nothing to complain about.

I see over on the Broncos forum that a member on there seems to think he has read somewhere that the Knights are after young outside back Aaron Whitchurch.

Never rated the guy in the U20's when I saw him play but he did impress me in the couple of FG games he got this year, looked very solid and handled everything thrown at him.

Good grief don't we have too many as is?

A Prop for the love of god.

I'd take him. As a second-row/centre only though. He'd make an ideal bench utility forward but he would have to work hard to get a game with already like 10 guys going for 4 spots.

Just caught the end of news and it said parra offering bird $750k , us and dragons $650k and titans 550k, expected to stay loyal to titans, anyone see this?

Yeah, deadline for Bird tomorrow to make his mind up. If he's going to leave the Titans I'd say it's to us. Coming home, big money, stack of rep teammates and playing under Bennett.

The only thing going for Parra is they're desperate enough to pay massive overs for him. I don't believe "playing under Stuart" has anything to do with it. If its about the money and the money only he'll go there.

Titans captaincy is huge draw card for Bird along with being loyal. However the attraction of playing under Bennett, coming home and bringing his GF home (Rochows sister) as well is a good chance for us.

Think he might stay though at GC.

Agreed, I think he'll extend at the Titans too

Yeah I realised that after I posted lol but who knows, I think Bird coming here is just as likely as Bedsy playing in 2014!
