Round 1: North Queensland vs Gold Coast

Don't think I can be bothered staying up for this ... but I've got the house riding on the Cowboys!!!
 
I think this year the Titans should easily make the 8. Their roster is really underrated now that they got the spoon last year.

Srama will only get better, a real talent.
 
I wouldnt read anything into that game.

If Cowgirls played that bad last year the wooden spoon titans would still have beaten them
 
Idris looks quite good, and they are using him well just running straight and hard at the line.

The Cowboys were woeful but aren't they always early?
 
Terrible game.
Titans were bad and the Cowboys were abysmal.

Cowboys will bounce back strong next week though.

Also, can't believe the Cowboys dropped Jason Taumalolo back to the U20's. The guy will be a superstar and should be playing FG.
 
Our game is definitely looking alot better after watching all the other matches so far, shocking. Cowboys will definitely bounce back next week, just like us :)

Saying that, never understood why everyone has wrote the Titans off. They have an amazing pack and a 1 or 2 very talented backs, enough to make the 8 imo
 
I was probably a little harsh on the Titans actually.

Rankin combined quite well with Prince. Idris looked interested ... and played well.

Bailey got a lot of criticism last year being too old, but he's still a gun prop imo. He ran hard tonight. He also had a blinder for the NRL All Stars this year.
 
Noooo!!!

Who criticised Bailey last year? He was the Titans only shining light ... his stats were incredible! Had one of his best seasons ...
