Official Blues Side - Game 2

How will it be different whatsoever. He'll still be running at the same people in attack and tackling the same people in defence.

I was more so pointing out the fact that we only have two other FRF covering the heavy workload, putting more pressue on everyone else in the team. I don't mind so much he is at prop, but it would be more ideal for the team if there was another prop like TLL named in his place so he could go back to lock which would share the workload around easier.

Gallen - 104kg
Scott - 105kg

I really hope that this HUGE difference between the two won't cost NSW too much. And as was pointed out above, Jennings will come into the side for Hopoate when he returns - smart selection.

Then how is it any different then game 1 when the 3 backrowers handled there high workload quite well when the 4 props were doing s.f.a. IN fact the blues were there best in game one at the end when none of the props were on the ground.

And i cant see where this pressure from the lack of props hurting the other parts of the team is coming from.

Gallen is one prop (probably will play 80 minutes). Mannah and Merrin play the other prop position. IN addition you have Scott, Bird and Creagh playing 2nd row covered by Watmough and Lewis and even Gidley.

When you play front row it's not about how big you are it's purely about courage and leg drive, Gallen and Watmough have that in abundance. You have to be prepared to run at a brick wall the whole game an even more so in SoG!! So with Gallen and Watmough playing there I'm confident they can do the job. Having had the honour of playing with Snowden, I know he will be dirty at himself for his offensive performance in game one.

Even though I'm a New South Welshmen I love how Queensland can put in anyone and they will still get the do the job done!! We need that menatlity across the board!

The problem is we have too many amazing backrowers. Lewis, Watmough, Creagh, Gallen, Scott and Bird, and none of them deserve to be dropped. Then you have Heighnington as well who deserves a spot. I'm not too fussed about the team. Would have preferred to put in TLL in for Creagh, but Creagh hasn't done anything wrong, I juts think TLL would offer more impact.

Very promising team...and I wish that Hopa would stay on. He was in my pick for Origin 1 despite being so young. Hope he shuns Jeebus to play next year :-D just saying

Love the team and can't wait to for this game. Gallen at prop is a good move and one several sharks fans have been debateing for their team next year in their forum. On Hopa I think he deserves his spot his been in great form and was great against Sau when he played centre against us. So I believe he can handle himself at origin level. Good team thou but may be found just a bit short up front. I reckon this will be the prop rotation:
Gallen 60 minute
Mannah 40 minute
Merrin 40 minute
Choc 20 minute
If there is one weakness that is it but looking at that rotation I think prop will be covered. My tip is NSW by 8.

It's probably the most DANGEROUS forward pack we've had for a while, but it lacks the size/strength of previous ones. I'm a bit worried about Watmough up the middle, i mean he's a tough bugger and has some ball skill, but I'm not sure he's best served against Scott and Petero.

That being said, big fan of the team

Minichiello on standby for Dugan. I'm hoping I read wrong.

yeah...took up a whole page of the telegraph (i get it for free...)

I don't get it. The whole of Origin I selection was about Hayne vs Dugan and now that one is already out, there's no reason to have Hayne kept at wing. It also means Hopa can go to his more favored wing and Idris or another Center brought in. Then everybody is in their favored position (except Idris). I don't know why Hayne isn't put back at fullback?@!@#!

I'd rather Gidley at fullback for the Blues... That's saying something.

Not sure why Hayne isn't considered, but it is the Daily Telegraph.

Your not wrong Alicia, Mini is six years past it!

Is way over due for his payout in French rugby!

Nope, you seem to be correct.

Would be a solid selection imo but definately not a good one. :/

Minnichello is rubbish, hasn't produced anything since 2005 to be honest. Sticky must be ****ing blind if he puts this nuffie in the team! NSW are a big enough joke as it is, Gidley has been average at fullback for the Blues in the past, but he is better than Minnichello!

I agree that Minichello is past it, but at least he's solid and provides great defense at the back. Gids is more effective coming off the bench in at dummy half for NSW, then starting at FB.

He isn't solid anymore though, he has had about two 'decent' games so far. Go have a browse of the Chooks forum, they all think he is overrated and just kills their attack trying to be a playmaker because he is innefective running the ball.

Worst and strangest selection in Origin history!
