Myles signs with Titans

We are definately after Myles. He was having a meeting with his manager Gavin Orr and Ken Edwards.

Oh you were right, it was real! Sorry whenever I (or anyone here probably) hear a player linked to us we just assume the media did it but it seems like they had a chat. Interesting. I guess he can play any position in the forwards bar hooker though.
 
Nate has been speaking to a lot of clubs including ,Cronulla , Bulldogs , Titans and Penrith . Looking for the best deal he can get which is fair enough . I just hope he doesn't bring his bad boy behavior with him . eg the hotel incident
 
Well I think he's trying to push up his price. It's his perogative. He's a good player, but I don't think we lack the roster. We lack the teamwork and cohesion.
 
Some people on here seem to rate our forward pack way to highly. Yes, we do have some excellent talent and some quality players in the front row, but I believe we 'need' a star in our forward pack - Myles, Snowden etc etc. We need at least one to give our forward pack an intimidating presence.. Costigan will be good when he returns, but Myles can play lock - a position which we need filled. Edwards is a prop for mine, and Hilder doesn't add enough punch at lock (think Gallen for the Sharks, Parker for the Broncos)
Myles would be fantastic for our team (if he can behave off the field)
 
Myles if Im not mistaken has been as clean as a whistle since Brian Smith came. I think a number of Roosters fans echoed how Mason was a poison at the club around the younger guys but it seems many have changed their ways. Unfortunately Watts at the Cowboys with Mason didnt.
Anyway some people seem to think Highly of Myles as a prop. He pretty much plays like a prop, as long as he doesnt try to do too much. Snowden and Myles, Tui and Ritchie as a front rotation would be awesome.
I think there is plenty in the backrow to suggest Bennett can make them into more striking players. Guys like Taia, Patterson, Houston, and Costigan. Many of those cept probably Patto could play more then one position in the forwards.
Anyway talking about Myles is a bit too premature but we would have some money if Boyd went to the Titans...
 
I hope we don't get Boyd...our backline is perfectly capable with a little tweaking.

3. ?
4. Sau
5. McManus
6. Henry
7. Mullen

These players are more than capable of doing the job with a little bit of improvement. (Sau and McManus communication etc)
 
I'd be more then happy if we signed him, but i wouldn't be disappointed if we didn't get him either

I wouldnt worry too much, the same thing happened at the Dragons. I remember Weyman being the first signing or close enough and that didnt happen till midseason IIRC. Besides re-signing is more of a priority then signing. Gidley, soon to be Sau and De Gois, tick tick tick. Though your right, it is a frustrating wait, makes the week less boring I suppose.
I wouldnt be surprise if it was just the 1 or 2 signings with maybe a lower key player as well.
