A few people have been wanting to see this for years, I finally got round to it! Akuila Uate scores in the 2006 Jersey Flegg grand final.

Dont worry Vossy, we will remember the name....not only will we remember it but we will also pronounce properly, You f*ckin idiot!

Geez, settle down. This is the first time he had ever been on tv, I'm sure not everyone knew how to pronounce it perfectly first time.

This was meant to be an interesting clip for people to see, not a reason to raise your blood pressure and get all angry.

Yeah that would be fair enough....BUT HE STILL DOES IT! ...I clearly remember him doing it when Aku scored that try Vs the Broncs in round 24.

I dont know why but it really grinds my gears when he says it lol.

What an amazing try. I love how he finds gaps between forwards and steps straight into them.

That was about his second touch after him and Sam Wooden swapped positions.

Early the next year they gave him some more time at fullback in NSW cup (or premier League as it was), and he caused havoc barging through the forwards - but then he was injured and he hasn't had a run at fullback since.

When should we try him at fullback. We've gotta try him there sometime in his career. Him & McManus will basically be fighting for fullback when Gids goes.

I'd have McManus playing fb for prob 50 minutes of the game, and then put Uate at fullback for the final 30. His defense isn't good enough to be fb fulltime, but Uate at fullback on the back of some tiring defense up the middle = watchout

Sure thing ... just wait a sec.
