Tigers v Roosters should be an absolute cracker!

I think Warriors and Canberra will give it a red hot go against their top teams. Would be great to see them spring an upset.

Geez Dragons are going to be hard to beat... watching them live against the Knights and then demolish the Rabbitohs without 4 stars.

Look out Manly.

Warriors
Tigers
Panthers
Sea Eagles

I think teams like the Warriors and Sea Eagles might just pull upsets this weekend. I reckon the Tigers - Roosters game could get ugly though, I just have a feeling that Marshall is going to have one of those weeks and the Chooks might be on the receiving end.

Titans
Tigers
Raiders
Dragons

Manly surely have no hope against Dragons who are at home, rested 5 key players and still managed to beat South Sydney & Steve Matai out for possibly 7 - 9 weeks.

I really think the Dragons can win it this year. They have proven over the last 2 weeks they arent chokers so Im expecting them to flog manly.

The rest of the games could go either way.

This is my prediction for the whole thing under the McIntyre System:

Week 1:
Dragons vs Sea Eagles @ Win Jubilee Oval
Panthers vs Raiders @ CUA Stadium
Tigers vs Roosters @ SFS
Titans vs Warriors @ Skilled Park

Winners:
Dragons
Titans
Roosters
Raiders

Losers:
Panthers
Tigers
Warriors - Eliminated
Sea Eagles - Eliminated

Week 2:
Raiders vs Tigers @ Canberra Stadium
Roosters vs Panthers @ SFS

Winners:
Roosters
Raiders

Losers:
Panthers - Eliminated
Tigers - Eliminated

Week 3:
Titans vs Roosters @ Skilled Park
Dragons vs Raiders @ WIN Jubilee Oval

Winners:
Dragons
Titans

Losers:
Roosters - Eliminated
Raiders - Eliminated

Grand Final:
Titans vs Dragons @ ANZ Stadium

I'm gonna update this everytime a game happens.

Week 2, the home team has to play at their regional base is that right?

For example, if Titans have to play next week (based on penrith and st's winning) they have to play at Suncorp, and any Sydney based team plays at ANZ?

or is that week 3

lol none from 4 i reckon!
haha

atm i'm 2/3 (Warriors, Roosters, Canberra, Dragons)

UP THE RAIDERS!!!

Dissapointing that because of extra time they didn't delay the Panthers vs Raiders game. Missed out on 10 valuable minutes. Maybe they should look at playing the first game at 4pm & the 2nd game at 7:30pm to avoid this in future. I guess it all comes down to ratings but its unfair for the fans of the game they had to cut out 10 mins of a finals game.
Mind you the Tigers vs Roosters game was one of the best finals games Ive ever watched.

is Marshall out next week??

Thats right. Though do raiders play in canberra/sydney since they won???

They said on tv that Sheens wasn't confident Marshall would be back next week, and yes Canberra will have a home final next week.

This is week three. However, EAS is considered big enough to host a regional final - I am sure Skilled Park will qualify and the game will be played there.

Basically that rule is just to prevent grounds like Brookvale hosting a grand final qualifier.

VERY happy to see Raiders get through :D that damn Roosters game i was gonna put $40 on when they said Roosters were at $2.10, knew i should of.

I was at the SFS last night. One of the best games I've seen live (would have been better if it was a Knights win :D) The last 5 minutes of normal time was just ... wow  and extra time was even better. It was weird how the Tigers supporters were louder than the Roosters supporters at the SFS. I'm glad that will never happen to us at our home ground

Nah the said during the footy friday night that Titans would have to play at suncorp

Tigers were the much better team for the majority of the game, should have won, but still a great game of footy.
Carney is a gun. Do you think we would have got him if smith was still coaching us?

Well Smith had always been interested in him during 2009. So with the desperatness of Carney, it was good bet that he would.

I just heard on the game on friday, that if titans were the home side week 3, which they will be, it was to be played in brisbane......

Raiders id say will play in canberra, can hardly call sydney their regional base when its not even in the same state

I tend to disagree there, but I thinkRoosters, while they had no ball, were still the better team, they had points put on them, but at the 55th minute or watever for a player to go to a feild goal shows how relentless that defence must have been.

Roosters obviously wanted that win more. Carneys try save on a guy twice his size was crazy, Benji going down like a 2 dollar hooker was a good site, and that win on the scrum against the feed was great. It shows what scrums should be like, contestable.
