New rugby league video game coming to PS3/Xbox 360

I know there is no franchise mode (which is possibly the stupidest thing to not have in the game) but is there a season mode? like even if it is just one season at a time.

Yes there is a season mode but this game is best played against others.
 
I'm happy enough playing single player at the moment. I'm not a big online gamer and I'll stick to offline multiplayer with mates.

Certainly is a lot tougher than previous RL games thats for sure
 
The game is a big improvement on previous installments. On Medium/Hard it is not when you have the ball you score like rugby league 1/2. Overall its a great game for any rugby league fan.
 
Which shop should i get this from? I don't realliy want to pay $110 for it at EB Games.......

Unfortunately for me I can't score at all on Medium. I've played a ton of games over the past few days against the likes of Scotland and Ireland but still can't get any points. I keep getting ridiculously frustrated and shutting the game off now :fist:

I did drop it down to Easy to see how it was but ended up trouncing Manly 58-0 :brickwall:

Not enjoying it myself at the moment just because of the domination of the AI defence

Same. I can easily put 80+ points on any team in easy but on medium im lucky to get a field goal. Though i just beat scottland 35-0 with australia lol
 
Not a bad effort really. I've had a go at playing Scotland with Australia, NSW and Newcastle and the only 2 games I put points on in were 19-0 with NSW (a game where I thought i'd finally found the answer to scoring points) and a 6-0 win with Newcastle where I just gave the ball to Aku and he out paced the winger and fullback.

I just can't score points no matter what I try. Especially on the opposition goal line where the defence turns into a brick wall

What platform did you get it on? ps3/360?? If its ps3 then send me your psn id and ill give ya a game online :D
 
It's the same in every online game.

Thats why I don't play online matches. I get much more satisfaction out of beating mates playing in the same room
 
Im just starting to get the hang of medium well atleast in defence. In 6 games of playing super league i have only let in 2 tries. But im still struggling in attack lol. I cant get any more then 1 trie at best
