Ticket Sales - Game One

Just looking on the ticketmaster to see how many tickets you can buy in a block for game 1

Cat 1 - sold out
Cat 2 - max 3 seats
Cat 3 - sold out

I think we are looking good for a crowd of around 50k which would be a wonderful achievement for Victorian RL and RL in general

P.S. I'm so sick of catchpas

The decider back in 2006 was a pretty healthy crowd IIRC.

Edit:
Telstra Dome, Melbourne
Attendance: 54,833

I'd expect a decent crowd there for sure ... they usually get more to international games than Sydney or even Brisbane do.

Aren't tickets meant to be like $23 at ANZ (game 2 sydney) this year? That's what I had heard... but that might be Res D? Which there is no availability..

I remember getting $30 tickets in 06 and we were diagonally behind the in goal, 6 rows back.. best seats ever for a low price!!

Be Proud, Be loud - Join Blatchy’s Blues!

In 2009 the highly popular Blatchy’s Blues are back again! Blatchy’s Blues supporters are the proudest and loudest NSW supporters at ANZ Stadium.
The largest organized supporter group in Australia will be growing again for the 2009 season with an additional 1000 seats added to capacity. There is no better way to show your support for NSW than by purchasing a ticket to this section.
Blatchy’s Blues membership represents great value, with match entry, a blue supporters wig, official t-shirt, and for only $60

Pretty good deal, I might join with a few mates next year ;)

All regular seating for Wednesday night’s Harvey Norman State of Origin Series opener at Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium is now ‘sold-out’, but some of ‘the best seats in the house’ are still available for purchase.

The signage placement for this match at Etihad Stadium means that first three rows of the ‘lower-bowl’ are in fact sight restricted and these were released for sale only last Friday.

These seats around stadium the perimeter, are the closest to the playing surface.

A number of standing room only tickets have also been made available to the public today.

ARL CEO, Mr Geoff Carr, said that demand for tickets in Melbourne again underlined the strength of the Harvey Norman State of Origin Series:

“The appetite for Origin football in Melbourne seems to grow with each visit.

“Already over 50,000 tickets have been sold and there will be over two million viewers likely to be watching on the Nine Network television across Australia.”
