Whats everyone thinking of Josh King, reckon another big off season could be q decent benchie.
Yeah he's still got slot of improvement in him, like the twins, Fitz, Yates, Stone, Sione & Barnett still young and will be much better next season. Can't see him being more than a solid NRL player ......

Ordinary at best. 7 runs for 55m a game not NRL quality. Hopefully the last two years means we don't have to see the likes of king, Yates and Fitzgibbon in the team, or it's been a huge waste of time.

Apart from his handling which looks better kings game has gone backwards since last season.

Ordinary. Too small, cant bend the line. No off load. Unfortunate as he seems to have a big heart.

I was a bit surprized King got a run in the senior squad, because he was never a standout at NYC level, but through hard work, he has kept improving last year and this year and is just about as good as Starling now.
Only 10 years or so ago it was unusual for a prop to be ready for regular firstgrade before age 23 or so, and King is 23 next year.
Having said that, they mature earlier now, and if King doesn't make it next year, he probably won't make it at all.

I dont think his to small, but the rest i agree with

Tolman 183cm 103kg ish
Graham 187cm 104kg ish
Lawrence 187cm 106kg ish
Scott 185cm 109kg ish
Ese'ese 186cm 112kg ish
Lillyman 182cm 105kg ish

King 187cm 107kg ish
but tbh he looks at least 4-5kg bigger then that atm which mite be killing his agility and leg speed.
Im not a fan BUT another off season and some more time holding the extra kgs he looks to have mite make him a better player next yr.

I just dont think his a nrl prop... he suits lock better imo.

He hasn't improved and he's not as good as starling.

He's signed for next year and someone has to play NSW cup. If we were running with one or two dominant 60 minute props he could be ok injury cover for 20 minutes off the bench at a pinch.

He clearly has improved. Two year ago he couldn't get a run in reserve grade without injuries in the squad, and this year the NSWRL website raves about him when he plays reserves.
In reserve grade this year he has knocked out much better numbers than Mataora, Paea, Pauli or anyone else we have used.
You must wear some sort of special glasses to give you that dark a view.
I know you love all the wrist slashing stuff, but try to at least be a bit rational.

Levi, lamb, Pete (although he has faded badly), Elliott, Stone, Yates

Elliot yep give u that.
Levi off a back injury has been better but fading fast
Yates has been the same... just finally got a chance to play nrl... guys been a gun for 5yrs in lower grades.
Stone has hit the nrl running but hard to gauge atm... HUGE POTENTIAL!!!
Pete mmmm does his bit but nothing to write about

King is the kinda prop who needs to wind up and hit the line hard to make any impact on it. You can't give it to him running square of the line.

I don't think any of our props wind up enough, take the ball to flat at slow speed hence have problem breaking the line, limited meter gains. King is in because the others are not playing well, Pauli, Mataora.

Dan is the exception in our pack, plays well and if we get the two new props being talked about Ese'ese and Lawrence along with Jake we will be very strong up front and our back 3 forwards look good.
That would mean next year Starling, King and Pauli will be in reserves if signed. I believe Browny will give Starling another year, can't keep picking him in firsts every week barring injuries and not rate him ahead of others.
