Thoughts on Eric Grothe JNR?

Para played hopeless as a team (for most the game). I dont think he will make the side this year.

He's nearly as bad as Manu Vatuvei.

He should just give up and concentrate on his band, do some tours etc.

I don't really like him as a player.

He made two important mistakes today. First was the first pass, and 2nd the relax attitude to the 2nd try.

The only thing is that he seems to be a pretty strong player....

He was the best player Parra had on the field last week. When hes good hes good, when hes crap hes crap. He had one very extremely bad game last night, as did half of that freaking team. A winger soley cant be blamed for a loss and that team needs to sort their crap out.

He may not be solely blamed for their loss, but no one was blaming him.

Although he was directly responsible for letting in two tries, I guess your rose tinted specs were fogged up over his visual appearance for you to notice those two tries ?

At the end of the day he definitely played about as good as former Eels player, Paul Carige.

Yes I did notice the 2 tries he let in and I did say that he played like crap. All im saying is that he is still a valuable player!

I think Eric has set his priorities so that Music > Football, Football pays his bills but his real passion is playing in his band.

The thing is he can't be dropped because with Inu and Ben Smith injured there is no other decent players lol.

Still my original point stand, Grothe is the second worst winger in the NRL with Vatuvei in front of him, but Grothe is catching him.
