Kimmorley and Ennis were the second best players in their positions we've had at the club, just stuck behind the best through bad timing unfortunately. What about Barnett, played rep footy now?

Greg Inglis spent a year playing for Newcastle Wests when they were basically Knights 14/15 year old squad. He played alongside Mullen, Walsh, Terrence Seuseu, Cory Patterson and many others who played for the Knights. I saw an interview with Walsh once where he said Inglis couldn't play his preferred position because the star of the side was jarrod Mullen who played in the centres at that time.

Well, most of them anyway.
A couple of empty vessels in the forwards there.

Sounds like a "what could have been" to me...
Actually think he would've been average had we taken him on. Impossible to say for sure but management reportedly rejected him due to him being lazy and not training well enough.

Not sure we're the type of club to raise a players standard. If we signed Latrell we might never have signed KP. Is Trell really an upgrade?

Just to be clear, I've always been glad Latrell isn't at my club and have always said that to my mate who is a rabbitohs fan. He knows exactly what I mean now. There is no way he should keep Braddy out of Origin next year. But he is a legitimate mention in a what could have been thread. You've given one scenario right there, we have him come through, don't sign KP and the club might be dealing with the fall out right now. Another is he could have found the ideal mentoring here and soared. I don't think he is driven like that though

Bit of a journeyman, didn’t go on as well as I thought he would when he debuted in 2005.
He had a lot of natural talent. Played 5/8 a bit in 2005 and looked incredibly handy. Unfortunately Brian smith cut him along with Carmont I think one or both of those decisions were mistakes.

I'm sorry but who did Brad Tighe kick on for exactly? Burleigh Bears?
I was was disappointed when he left. He wasn’t a superstar, but a guy that could be relied on to do his job and do it well. The kind of guy every team needs, Penrith thought that too
