So a bloke plays an ok match so straight away he is in run on 2012 sides? Please people.

Roberts has had 2/3 AVG Games yet People are Placing him in there teams. IMO Stigg Looks much better then Roberts

Hard to say imo. They'd make a great duo though, obviously not realistic with Mullen around. Roberts has all the running game & dummying, while Stig looks to be the much better passer, kicker & leader.

My team:

1.Boyd
2.McManus
3.Sau
4.Naiqama (hope he re-signs, if his form lasts the whole season, why shouldn't he?)
5.Uate
6.Stig/Roberts (I think Wayney will be looking at settling the halves with one of the rookies)
7.Mullen
8.Snowden
9.Gidley
10.Costigan
11.Houston
12.Taia
13.Hilder

14.Stig/Roberts (similar to couple of rounds back, Roberts coming off bench)
15.Edwards
16.Fa'aoso
17.Tui

Stigg has a pretty good Running game too. If it was out of Stigg or Roberts id go Roberts at this point. Hope he plays a few more games though to get a better judgement.

Stig tonight played a much more backseat role to Gids, but a move to 7 might help out. He certainly has more direction than Roberts, whereas Roberts I see as somebody that SHOULD play second fiddle just because he would be better in a broken line. Stig is somebody who should be getting the ball first receiver because he has a great ball and a quick first step. Roberts is more of a dancer, but they both have good defense, especially early on in their careers.

1. Boyd
6. Mullen
7. Roberts/Stig
9. Gidley

Don't care who plays at half, aslong as Mullen is 5/8. Boyd self-explanatory, and I think Gidley will be the next big thing at hooker, could even push Ennis out of the nsw jersey

The old saying is one cold day doesn't make a winter so one good debut game won't be enough to get the 5/8 gig for 2012!!!

Well in fairness to those suggesting Stig should be 5/8 next year, Henry hadn't even played a single FG game and went straight into the starting squad...

Plus they only have 2 options to pick from if they put Gidley at 9.

Regardless of who is picked, provided it will be either Roberts or Stig ( i personally would go for Stig as he has a far cooler name) Mullen will most likely play 7, as he is far more experienced and senior. At least for the first couple of seasons.

Can't wait for Kade Snowden to join us. He made over 200 metres yesterday. He will provide some much need impact up the middle.

A few months ago there were reports that he was expected to sign a one year extension but nothing was ever made official that I know of

I guess we're just going to have to wait to see if Carbon gets some of his creditably back and Bird makes an announcement on his future this week lol

Call me mental, but I don't want S'au as one of the first choice centers next year unless he learns to pass. I'm not hating on him, I rate him as a player but he doesn't have the skill set. I actualy want to really see him tried in the backrow, and told all he has to do is run (which is what he does anyway). In my mind, centers need to be able to either go over the top of a smaller player, or get around a bigger player, and also know when to pass. Is this so crazy? Telling S'au just to run at the line all game?

Then you'd have Pete Mata'utia or Wes inside Jimmy Mac, Tahu on the other side. Problem solved...

except for the fact that we have a really good back row already. but i agree something needs to be done. kinda wish we signed wes and tahu although wes can be the same
