does this greg bird rumour have any legs or is it just something a random fan made up and we're all gettin wrapped up in it? i would love nothin more than for us to sign birdy but i sure as hell dont wanna be getting my hopes up over a myth someone has created. we're all naming our fantastic 2012 squads with bird in them, if we arent even looking at him its going to make our already existing pack seem a little weaker since we've hyped it up with bird in it. i just dont want us knights fans setting ourselves up for disappointment.

No there's a little big of legs to go with the rumour. He won't be re-signed by the Titans due to salary cap pressure, the Knights aren't finished recruiting yet & still have a fair bit of money to play with, plus there's rumours going around that in return for Henry, the Titans wouldn't extend Bird's contract. Not too mention the Tinkler 'locals' drive is in full progress. I'd say it's down to us & the Sharks to sign Bird. The only reason he'd go to the Sharks would be because of Gallen. They may well sign him over us too because they would have more money to use than us. We are his local team & are on the brink of success very soon with Wayne Bennett at the helm, so both are probably good options for Bird. Knights = good money, success, Wayne Bennett - Sharks = better money than the Knights, less chance of success.

Tui deserves a spot somewhere he's been really strong this year particularly the last 5 or 6 games.

Tyrone Roberts to take 14. Similar role to that he has already played this year. Gids to hooker to give Danny a break and Tyrone to 6 or 7. That would be my team. Would love Bird but that's a long shot right now.

Watching Buderus in the England/Exiles game, I'm not sure he'd be up to playing the full 80, there was numerous times at the end he could of dummy'd and ran himself, but chose to pass. Obviously he's nowhere near his old form, but can anyone who watches Leeds games tell me how he goes on a weekly basis?

Well that's why either of him or Hilder will be in the #14. I'd say that's the plan next year. Both wouldn't be up to the 80 so just have a hooking rotation.

I thought he was teriffic in the Exiles game, about a 100 times better than Hilder anyway.

He was good, but I didn't think he was overly threatening in attack, not what we're use to, and I thought the game play was quite slow, nrl will be alot faster paced then that game.
