He was better before Peptides
Being made the captain of the Titans is like Gaigai winning player of the year for the Knights lmao. Much like Snowden, Douglas didn't exist before or after the peptides. Much like any of the other Sharks players who were average before them.
This is how I remember it. I recall him having a really good year when the Sharks made the Top 4 based pretty much on their defence. 2008 I think it was.He was better before Peptides

People like to say Gallen was all peptides too. Think it's just an easy cop out insult. Sure the peptides probably helped out in recovery & made players more durable but it wouldn't have turned an average player into superman. It was a legal accepted supplement at one point wasn't it? He's broken down now with age, but a guy like Gallen was just a warhorse with a massive work ethic in his prime. The Sharks had other good players & average players too, saying the good players were only good because of a supplement they were taking is taking it a little far in my opinion.
Gal’s a freak. Even at 37 he still gets through tons of work. I don’t like him because he hangs sh*t on the Knights but the bloke is a legendary footballer. To attribute all he’s done to a year using peptides is unfair.People like to say Gallen was all peptides too. Think it's just an easy cop out insult.
