I find it amusing that you think KP would kill our premiership window instead of being the main reason that we'd even have one in the first place.Another 2 seasons of an injury prone Kalyn really could kill our premiership window.
I find it amusing people think Roosters would take him on, Teddy realistically could play another 2-3 seasons atleast and this year begins his premiership window.
Kalyn is 28 this year, and let's be honest physically he is cooked.
I don't think any team ever will
Says his foot is good, but who knows![]()
Kalyn Ponga open to shock switch to New Zealand in World Cup year
The Newcastle skipper is on track to play in Las Vegas.www.newcastleherald.com.au
Article about Ponga. He says his foot is OK and "it's been a process".
Long article, and that's all he has to say about his injury - not very convincing.
All StarsHow come Thompson isn’t playing for the bulldogs
Mine too. Certainly not suggesting we change anything with him. Like billy saud, he will be playing fullback or 5/8 most of the year anyway. Its just what we do with him the rate occasion they are all fit.The idea of taking a guy who could potentially play fullback for us for ten years and play Origin a bunch of times in that position, bulking him up and sending him out there to get bashed around making 40 tackles every week, honestly turns my stomach a little.
is this premiership window in the room with us? Cmon now.Another 2 seasons of an injury prone Kalyn really could kill our premiership window.

He's reading my mind at this pointDon't need to fire up the sack holbrook thread just yet based on his selections.
Interesting Gamblor got the 14.
Fletcher Hunt is the more capable talent imo. As a result, he found himself filling in at fullback last week.Interesting that Fletcher Hunt is ahead of Kyle McCarthy in the pecking order. I thought McCarthy did alright on the weekend.
McEwen is a still heaps young. Cant isnt as good as McEwen but he is probably more professional and consistent, so a good lesson for the coach to dish out to McEwen to start the season. Won't be long before McEwen takes the spot and once he does he'll be cognisant that its only his spot if his form permits.Cant must’ve been impressing in the pre-season to start over McEwen
