People are fleeing that joint like the Titanic, I have strong doubts he will see out that contract and wouldn't surprise me if there's a bunch of get out clauses in there.

If people are fleeing the joint, even now before he signed the extension, why sign it at all if his intention was to leave.

This makes no sense.

He didn’t “just” extend. He extended until the end of 2028 about 18 months ago, and the options are for 2027 and 2028. I don’t know where you’re getting your information from because there’s no such thing as a “1.5 year” option/extension. He has options to stay at Parramatta until about June 2030? That makes no sense.

The Eels are trying to get him to remove the options clauses and sign a deal which will keep him at the club for the rest of his career, but they’ve been trying to do that for months now. There’s been no inkling that he’s going to sign that deal so far.

TBF with a new coach coming in they probably wont get him to resign until he feels comfortable. I think Ryles will be an astute signing for them

Just posting what I read online. I don't bother with following the contracts of opposition players.

1.5 year extension seemed bizarre but thats what it said.
