Rumour: Foran to the Knights

Foran, are we serious, he doesn’t play much, often injured, yes was once a very good to great player but not sure how old he is or realistically how many games he has in him but he is not a 3/year deal. If we want a 5/8 then we have Green for next year if we need with younger developing players, Crossland etc. if we must sign someone from outside make it a potential star and sign him for 3 years.

I reckon Green would be a much more sensible option BUT not disrespecting Green, Foran at his best is twice the player Green could hope to be.

Either way not fussed if it doesn't or not, I'd also normally go a bit bigger scalp like Nathan Cleary or something like that lol.
 
Match payments seems to be a good idea with Foran , if he's fit we get a bloody good player if not we lose nothing and have Mann and Crossland for 5/8 .
I get the feeling Green only signed on for this season and has plans for next season and beyond , maybe he has been sounded out by the poms but couldnt go till next season or an Aussie team .
I too would like to keep Green but a fit Foran in the team is mouth watering especially if we lose nothing if he is injured .
You get injured a lot more if your minds not on the job at footy or anything else and Foran had a lot of issue's and problems for a few years there, his mind was not on the job for that time .
He has had so many injuries that the rest of his body is probably in good shape (as joey said a few bad injuries can lengthen your career weird but true.)
I wouldn't give him a normal contract but match payments .. If we cant keep Green... why not .

And it’s amazing that people are relying on a player to be good who hasn’t been good in over 5 years.
 
The current recruiting people, whoever is making the calls, have made a lot of good decisions and not many bad ones.
I wouldn't pick Foran as someone we want or need, and i think it's probably just his manager trying to make people think he is in demand by linking him to us, but if we do sign him, our recruiting crew have done enough for me to think they know what they are doing, so I'll wait to see how it works out.
 
Geez, I know Alex is a bit green as a recruiter, but did we have to organise Michael Hagan to mentor him?
 
Still laughing at the fact that people are stupid enough to think we will sign Foran, on his terms or not
 
Rumors thread. Tossing up possibilities, not matter of fact.You’d be laughing a fair bit at some of the chat on this rumours thread over the years. I certainly don’t think we’re signing him. But there’s noise so why not speculate what would be handy if true. Pretty harmless.
 
Nah it’s just crap and a waste of everyone’s time when it’s the same one over and over again and theres literally no weight or substance to it.

it’s going around in circles and there’s nothing new or substantial to add to the discussion.

There have been other absurd ones sure but at least that’s new content
