I'd prefer Graham also I think because he wasn't keen Brown changed his plans

Talk is Graham is going to Saints if anywhere,makes sense when you think location, work place changes but not accommodation, no moving cost no relocating, is a big consideration.

We did chase graham, and he made it clear he didn't want to leave the dogs. We had no actual permission to officially speak to him to offer him anything as he is contracted next year, but Brown said plenty of times if he were free we would be very interested. The dogs indicated Graham wasn't going anywhere and so did Graham, so we moved on and started chasing Blair. Brown did say in a recent interview that we have moved in a different direction.

Now we appear to be fairly far down the track with Blair.

None of this means the Knights haven't made contact with Graham behind the scenes when he was put on the market by the dogs. It's possible Graham said he wants to stay in Sydney, or doesn't want to come to the Knights. Who knows.

Blair is expected to make a decision this week or next week. Interesting Brown indicated 3-4 player signings over the next 3-4 weeks.

Also said that we won't fill up all our spots in next year's roster, presumably meaning they are saving room for any guys who might be on the move just before the season or during.

What went wrong with the Dragons and Adam Blair?

Something didn’t go according to plan because the Red V have now turned their attention to James Graham.

It’s understood the Dragons have cooled on Blair after an indifferent meeting and are zeroing in on the Bulldogs skipper to replace Russell Packer in the middle next season.

It's to do with Blair and what I have already said in the thread. He is a heartless peabrain that is severely over rated. Only good for doing dog shots on opposition halves.
