Is Ponga slowly becoming a downhill skier himself. That miss on Clifford for his try is criminal.

If Taumalolo isn’t the best forward ever to grace this game then I’ve got a bridge in Sydney to sell you. Playing with bone bruising in the knee and still dominating whole forward packs with multiple origin forwards.

I look forward to watching the whole game soon enough.

The worst thing about that loss is we had no energy and didn't look interested at all. But then we decided to turn it on in the second and put on points easily.

We blew our chance to sit top of the table, if that doesn't hurt and they bounce back next week I don't know what will.

The good stat for us is that we have won the second half in every game this year, which shows we are one of the fittest sides and that we don't lose a lot when the bench players go on.
The games we have lost or drawn are games where we have been outplayed from the start and our fitness hasn't saved us.
The other obvious thing out of the last few weeks is that sides are keen to bash Pearce out of the game and we haven't got anyone to do some kicking to take the pressure off him. O'Brien mentioned it in the presser, so we might see changes there, by either getting Ponga, Mann and McCullough to kick more, or bringing in another kicker in either Lino or Crossland.
 
Unfortunately Cowboys just drew up a blueprint for Manly. Obviously our back 3 get us to a good roll, expect Manly to throw the same at us.

Pearce’s short kicking is awful, always has been, it’s as if he watches where he’s not meant to kick to, always straight at the full back or into feet.

Our attitude is definitely a problem, most of the defence was effort. Klemmer needs a licence to offload every play, he’s getting them away effortlessly.
 
Just further to what Billy was saying, we are winning second halves which is a great sign. To me, we need to be more measured at the start of matches. We want to play at a high tempo, that's fine. But early in the last three matches everything has looked manic and ragged. Pearce in particular is throwing passes which put his supports under a lot of pressure. Later on his range is a lot better. I'd take it down a notch and concentrate on ball security and defensive structure in the first 15. Let the forwards and outside backs get early ball and play well before the line. If you get an early lead you can continue at that tempo and control the game. Otherwise, you can start to lift the tempo with everyone warmed into the game. The cowboys adjusted to the high pace a lot quicker than we did yesterday and capitalised. Same with Melbourne a couple of weeks ago. We got a bit lucky with the Broncos last week as they have serious problems. From the looks of it, we are going to come home over the top of a lot of teams. Let's do it from 6 all at half time.

Just on that, I thought our centres were on the wrong sides of the park? Would Tuala have over the early chance? Does Obi see Tuala as our first choice right centre and wanted him to keep the combo with Hunt going?

If I replace Knights with Cowboys and remove Ponga I would’ve won!! So close!! Haven’t lost my touch.
 
If we were on from the start we blow them away easily...that second half shows how much points we had.
Attitude right from the start was not there, looked like they expected the win and not earn it. Hopefully they learn a big lesson from this.
