Think we defended way worse this game. Could even tell OBrien was pissed off that the players weren’t holding them up and instead just jersey grabbing, as seen in the coaches box when he was gesturing his arms up.
 
So do we put this down as a reason to be resting players to give others game time. Shibasaki early errors were costly. Thought he was good after the first 20 minutes, but by then the damage had been done.
For a team that starts with Klem and DSaf, we get absolutely rolled at the start of every game. Errors from the team doesn't help, but I'd be in favour of bringing Randall in for another shot opening. I haven't seen anything from McCullough in attack, defence is good but so was Randalls.
Thought Hoy was alright, still don't understand the role he plays on the bench, but atleast he was trying. Seemed to be just playing Pongas left side sweep, don't think we ever saw him on the right side.

Definitely agree, crap attitude translates into other areas such as defence. We looked like a school team with the shirt grabbing.

However we turned it around and nearly pull their pants down so guess that's a positive.
 
Cowboys kicking for touch to take Ponga out of the game was giving him a lot of respect. We did that for Billy Slater and Tedesco at times, but it shows a lot of respect for a fullback to rather let his side have a set play than let him run the ball back.

He comes on and 10 minutes later he is gassed.
 
Heads up, serious wake up call for the entire team. No doubt Cowboys were always going to be up for this game.

Only gripe was (imo) Hess being clearly offside almost every set in defence :/

Gave away 2 lazy set restarts, and then made a play at a grubber he had no right to touch and gave away another set. Played 20 minutes and looked worse then Sione who's our only second rower to play every game.
 
I like to look at that loss as a major wake call up for the entire squad...I hope that we bounce back better than ever and don't let this happen again. But being a knights fan I'm also very wary.
 
@cowboyman: your team were clearly the best team on the day and deserved their win. You will enjoy watching the game when you see it.

Green’s job is safe for a while now.

Well boys there were 1853 spectators at this game Today and I was one of them ( in my blue Knight jersey ) and trust me before you turn Guerra Into your new whipping boy the difference he makes to the defense when he went on was obvious, his communication And commitment seemed to steel that edge.
The game was lost well before he came on and from memory we haven’t lost too many passages this year when he is on the field .
Maybe 200 NRL games of experience offers more than an armchair experts opinion, either way we what ever he offers this team is better with him than without him.
 
Haven’t watched the game only seen highlights and the stats.

Shibasucki proving his worth. Thank you for deciding to do it in the game I actually care about involving the Knights. By god he sucks.

Is Ponga slowly becoming a downhill skier himself. That miss on Clifford for his try is criminal.

If Taumalolo isn’t the best forward ever to grace this game then I’ve got a bridge in Sydney to sell you. Playing with bone bruising in the knee and still dominating whole forward packs with multiple origin forwards.

I look forward to watching the whole game soon enough.
